Heat Sink Compound

Heat Sink Compound

2005-05-13 by xamboldt

Hey Everybody,

My 300 has been sitting there, 95% finished for a few weeks now. Now that
work has calmed down a bit, I'd like to get the thing done, but I need to
order some heat sink compound, as it seems that local Radio Shacks don't
carry it anymore.

Anyone have a mouser number for it? I don't need a ton of it, just enough
for my 300 and maybe a few other modules here and there.

Thanks for your help,
Chris

Try a computer store. I used the same heat sink compound that I used to attach a cooling fan to my Pentium 4.

Thanks Jeff - that's a slap-to-the-forehead-why-didn¹t-I-think-of-that
answer. :)

Incidentally, to answer my own question:
#524-8109-S 1oz tube $6.50
#526-NTE303 1g tube $1.77

1oz = 28.3495231g
