Cracked Caps

2005-05-12 by Wood

Hey All,

One of the 0.1mfd ceramic axial caps in my 300 VCO kit has a small crack in the covering. Is this a
problem or is it ok?

Thanks,
Eric

Thanks for nothing guys! Is this question so stupid that it deserves no answer?

Way to get impatient after waiting a whole 12 hours. I'd reccomend you
call paul, or pick up a replacement
cap at Rat Shack. Oh wait, they're not so good about axial caps, are
they? Hmm. Someone more qualified
than me will probably reply to this thread, but since you seemed so
eager for a response, here's my fairly
useless early-morning one.

Well, it's kind of hard for someone else to assess physical damage of an
object without actually seeing the object, you know?

If you're in a hurry, why not contact Paul, rather than berating us?
