OT: SYNLAB modules?

OT: SYNLAB modules?

2004-11-17 by Aaron Day

Hi all-

I was in a studio the other day and under a pile of Mac IIs machines
and old reels I found some modules of a type I'd never seen.

"synlab"

I did a (very) quick web search but didn't come up w/ anything.

Here are a couple photos if anyone is interested.

Typical of German audio eqpt it looks like these things are built to
last 300 years...

Anyone familiar with these units? Paul?

best,

ad

(PS for the few of you that might know where this studio is the owners
want that info kept private)

I think these were ARP 2500 "plug and play" modules (went into 2500 frame).

There's a page of info about synlab modules in Peter Forrest's book
A-Z of Analogue Synthesisers.
