Resistor testing

2004-11-14 by Paul Schreiber

There used to be a set of "component test plugs" that fit directly on your DVM.
They had 2 banana plugs molded into a block, with 2 leaf-spring "grabbers". All
you did was insert the resistor into these and look at the display. I'm sure
they are still made *somewhere*. I don't know the exact and proper name to do an
adequate search.

Maybe in the Aligent catalog, their mega-$$$ LCR testers have them.

Sorry for my incompetence. I have this MY68 for dmm (check the first
http://www.cir.com/tequip/dmm/dmm.htm), but I'm not able to understand
how to check the resistors. Am I wrong with this model? So I need
something better for MOTM?
Thanks
Luca
