[motm] Cold Heat solder iron?

Has anybody been seeing those "Cold Heat" soldering iron commercials and bought one of those things? If so, does it really work?

For those who haven't seen it, it's a small battery powered soldering iron that is ready to use virtually as soon as you press the on switch and then cools down so fast that you can touch the tip with your finger a second after you use it. It sure looks convinient in the commercial and great for portable use.

I've never gotten a good look at the commercial but I assumed it was some
sort of resistance soldering. A couple of the things they show it doing in
the commercial made me cringe. Absolutely now way that was a good joint...
