bad cable return procedure
2003-09-22 by J. Larry Hendry
A small number of you have indicated you have experienced a cable failure from the last bunch. Officially, Rapco's policy is they will replace any cable returned to them within a year. However, it seems a waste to me for you to ship it to me and me to ship it to Rapco. Seems like the postage will be more than the cost of the cable. Therefore, since I know there are only a few of these out there, I have decided to replace them from my own pocket / profit instead of returning them to Rapco. So, you do not need to hassle with returning any bad cable. However, if you write me with many multiple failures, I do reserve the right to ask for the cables back. But, I trust my customers to do the right thing. :) If you need to replace a bad cable, just go ahead and re-order it this upcoming round. Just put a note on your mail some place which cable was bad and I will adjust your price so that cable is free. It does not get any easier than that. :) The bad cable is yours to keep. If you can fix it, you have a free cable, complements of Stooge Products, Inc. Larry Hendry Stooge Products, Inc. Manager of Warranty Administration Dept. (man have I got a lot of hats) :)
