The joy of FX

The joy of FX

2003-09-16 by cormallen

Earlier today I was flicking through the manual for my Eventide
Eclipse when I noticed that its two pedal inputs will take CV. I
hadn't noticed that before, since I bought the Eclipse a long time
before getting my modular rig.

I've just spent the last few hours joyously modulating the hell out of
it from the MOTM. Staggering amounts of fun; CV controlled phasers,
delay lines, pitch shifts, comb filters... I'm in heaven.

Sort of like I imagine a Blacet TimeMachine, but more so :-)

Yeah, my motm is permanently patched into the eclipse. Good FX
processors sound so nice when you put good sound into them ^_^

For kicks and grins: try chaining the 174 Reverb 8 room size to a CV
input. Bwahahahaa!
