I am not currently on the AH ml, so I haven't heard
any announcements yet.  I also searched the AH archive
and did not find anything for this year.  Finally, I
am having trouble hitting Andrew Scheidler's webpages.

Any info?

I got a very quick reply from Andrew.

Analogue Heaven Mid-West (AHMW) Gathering 2003 is on
again for this year.

The date this year is March 29th and it is in NE
Indiana.

What a great event!  I have only been once, but I had
a great time.  Larry usually goes every year and Old
Crow made it for his first time last year.

What an awesome opportunity so see some incredible
equipment (including lots of MOTM!) and meet lots of
cool people.  The people come in literally from all
over the United States--synth designers, sound
designer, colletors, gurus.

This really doesn't have an Analogue Heaven feel to it
fortunately.  None of the little kids who generate the
noise on the list show up.  People who are seriously
into synths do come.

Make sure you bring some of your unique or cool
equipment with you--lots of show-and-tell, performing,
jamming, talking, experimenting.  This is really the
premiere analog synth gathering in the country,
possibly the world.

Some of the equipment that will be there this year
(there will be a lot more!):  Wiard modular, System
700, Quadra, Voyagers, Evolvers, MOTM, etc.

There is a rumor that a synth legend will be there,
but I am not sure who it is.

I will be going this year.  I hope to have 4 x 24U rows of modular (mostly
MOTM of course) in my cabinets with the revised magic buss wired and ready
for action.  Fred Becker will probably be riding up with me.  I expect to
see all the regulars again like DIYers extraordinary and synth technicians
Harry Bissell and Tony Clark. I really enjoyed seeing the System 700 last
year.  I hope to put my hands on it this year. And, I always look forward to
see the most recent upgrades to Harry's one-of-a-kind set up.
