Just Tired of the Computer mouse.

Just Tired of the Computer mouse.

I'm just the new guy on the block writing to say "HI" to everybody. I
just bought
my first 6 modules 2 hours ago because im tired of programming my
Nord
Modular with the computer. After playing with a 2600 at a friends
house, I
finally realized what my studio was missing. Again, I find MOTM
haunting my
dreams like it did 2 years ago. This time, I did something about it.
So again,
Hello to everybody.

Welcome aboard. I'm sure many of use have tried the soft synth route.
It seems so economical, but you lose so much in the process. I was a
heavy user of Reaktor, even a beta tester for a time, but when it came
time for real time interaction the limitations became clear. Using a
mouse is pathetic. Now map all those buttons, sliders, knobs and LEDs to
a MIDI control surface in a way that makes sense. It's almost
impossible. It became clear why most people ended up using Reaktor for
building preset synthesizers.
