Re: Where is --- VC Pulse Divider?

To answer your question: Could I build you one ;) The answer is yes I COULD. :) But it wouldn't be as good as the one Paul S. could build you. I used to be a design engineer for a living. I had fully intended to build my modular from scratch until I found SynthTech. There is no doubt in my mind whatsoever that Paul (and jhaible) are much better design engineers than yours truly. It is also far easier for me to buy a kit from Paul than to go at it from scratch. If you have built any of the Blacet or Oakley conversions I'm sure you appreciate how much easier Paul's kits are (not to say anything bad about either Blacet or Oakley.) What I was trying to point out was that doing the design is only the first step. For me, getting attractive panels made is more of a hassle than actually designing a circuit this is why the Stooges do us all such a great service. Add in the nightmare of getting all the parts together, writing instructions and HTML, going to trade shows, and putting up with all of us complaining, doing PCB layout (YUCK!) How about cutting and tinning all those little coax cables? On a more personal note I'm sure once I finally get caught up on building modules (my personal backlog is down to six but I have 26 more on order) I will design some of my own. At that point, if I come up with anything unique or interesting enough and if I think it is up to Pauls standards I will see if he is interested. But Pulse Dividers (interesting as they may be) are not really that high up on my list of must haves. I'm much more interested in VC delays and Vocoders.
