Moe hits the big time!

Moe hits the big time!

I just received a copy of the new book 'Midi Power!' by Robert
Guerin, author of 'Cubase Power!' and other similar titles.

In the Midi Hardware Devices chapter on page 95 is a nice pic of my
Synth of Doom (yes he asked permission), used as an example of
modular analog synthesizers controllable through Midi to CV
converters. Paul and I get website plugs:

"The MOTM from Synthesis Technology comes as a kit (each module is an
option, including the MIDI to CV converter) -- you can find more
information on this at www.synthtech.com/motm. Dave Bradley assembled
this particular module (www.hotrodmotm.com) using different MOTM
modules, just like building a kit car; the MIDI to CV converter
appears in the bottom left corner of this module."

Aside from using the word 'module' to mean either 'module'
or 'synthesizer', I guess this means that you had better get the MOTM-
650 out there, Paul!

I'm finishing up the prototype schematics this evening, pcb layout starts tomorrow. Since it's a
16-bit system, there are *many* elements to worry about. I suppose I'll toot my own horn here:
it's by far the most *accurate* and *drift-free* MIDI-CV converter out there, especially in the
AUX outputs (true 10-bit converters, 8 of them, instead of a cheesy 8-bit one).

Congrats to Paul and Moe. However, I am wondering Moe if this actually tops
the Stooge panels in keyboard magazine (in Robert Rich's synth).

Larry, just happy to have a synth. :)
