MOTM Newbie

2002-10-20 by foraxx

I'm going to be building a MOTM system one module at a time. My
first purchase will include obviously, the 900 Power Supply. I'd
like to get one module for starters in addition to the 900.

Which one module is a good starting module that is useful and would
complement my Korg MS-10 nicely?
Thanks for any input.

Welcome to the MOTM list. Many of us here have built our systems one module
at a time. I have been doing that for 4 1/2 years. :) Will I ever finish?
I doubt it. One of the best MOTM stand alone units for processing external
signals is certainly the MOTM-410 filter. That would be my first
suggestion.

hello there,
this is exactly what i planned to do, get a small selection of processing
modules to compiment my MS10, unfortunately i loved it so much, that i sold
my MS10 to fund more modules
anyway, i'd recomend maybe either the #320 fully functioned LFO, or maybe
the Quad LFO, as i always thought the MS10 lfo was a little too fast, you
might also get the triple resonant filter, you'll love it (i'm sure i don't
use mine enough), i think the #101 sample & hold will compliment the MS10
quite nicely as well
