OK, I plunked down a 1/3 of my ENTIRE 2001 MOTM profits for a Audio Precision System 2 Dual
Domain analyzer with all available options (it was a demo unit). Should receive it in about 10
days.

If you don't know what this is, it is THE ultimate, "last word" for audio testing. The thing has
specs that sound made up: like 0.00024% THD from DC to 300Khz and can measure to 0.01% accuracy
down to -130dB SNR (about 26 bits). Also, full digital I/O (you can plug AES/EBU and SPDIF
straight into it).

OK, I'll go back to shipping orders.

I think Paul's overly anal perfectionism may be early signs of something
mental. I'm affraid in the future we'll be hearing stories about him that
resemble the last years of Howard Hughes.

We all grow more eccentric as we get older. It just comes on we engineers
a bit faster than normal folk.
