Nice job and documentation.

This is a lot of work; I just wish there was someway to make the MOTM
assy as easy as the Blacet one!

OTOH, this is one killer module.

A better year.....

MOTM version Miniwave photos

I won't have the full assembly documents up for the Blacet Miniwave
conversion to MOTM format until tomorrow. But, for those who care to check
out the photos, here they are:

Oh, ah!
Very nice photo set indeed.

The comments about keeping the wiring under control are well taken. I
attempted to use ribbon cable bits to keep from getting the 'beard of wires'
effect. It turned out still looking a bit on the messy side even so, though
not as bad as it would've been had I used separate wires for everything.
Hmmm. I also ended up making up a little daughter board for the leds, out of
a section of Radio Shack prototype PC board, with 2 sets of eight wire
ribbon cable bits running to each of the bank and wave groups of leds.

After engineering the fitting of the MW module to the Stooge panel, I
realized how easy we really do have it with Paul's kits- down to the
pre-tinned bits of co-ax all cut to length...!

I've really quite enjoyed using the finished module, BTW, though I feel as
though I haven't really yet scratched the surface...

Happy Nooo Year!

You will find that I offer alternate solutions in the instruction set
(tweaking now) for LED attachment. Your suggestion is one of those (I heard
from someone on the list, maybe you). Another involves freezing the LEDs to
make them fit into smaller holes and then tighten up when they expand to
room temperature. Dave Hylander is the crazy DIY'er behind that method.
