HA!! I've been wanting to write something similar but I couldn't remember
the details of the episode clearly enough.

I'm proud to be a geek!

It's not easy these days, considering you sit in a restaurant and all around
you average people are saying things like, "I'm going to add some of the new
DDR RAM to my system," "Have you seen the transfer rates on USB 2.0?" "The
PIII Tualatin processor dusts the Coppermine in every respect," and so on.

Sci-Fi trivia, and my very limited electronics knowledge, is about the only
thing I can cling to these days to keep in nerd-good-standing!

I always wondered whether or not there was any hidden meaning behind
the names in that episode. Spelled backwards, Darmok is a good
friend. But Jalad?
