Question on Modules being Discontinued

Question on Modules being Discontinued

2001-11-28 by sucrosemusic@yahoo.com

(Not sure if this post will go through, my last one didn't make it
in) You just mentioned the 110 going "POOF." Does that mean no
more, ever? EEK! I'd like to have a VCA in my synth, when I build
it. Before, you also mentioned running low on or out of the 300s.

Are your plans to release sucessors to these modules, such as the
uVCO to replace the 300s? A new VCA module, maybe? Or will there be
something like a several-month wait time before you start making
these kits again.

I nearly had a heart attack!

There is a dual-VCA in the works. I don't remember hearing that the 300
would be discontinued... the uVCO (310, right?) is supplimentary.

Correct. And there will even MORE VCA modules next year. Can't have too many :)

The RM function on the '110 is moving to a MicroModule (tm) next year as well.

MOTM-110? Typical e-bayer.

MOTM-100. This rare module is the first module ever discontinued in the
SynthTech line of superior modular products. This particular module has a
unique history. It was one of, if not the only, MOTM-100 module ever to
make an appearance at NAMM. While not fully confirmed, this module is
rumored to have been used by the famous recording artist Robert Rich is his
musical masterpiece "Bestiary."

Own a piece of history now. Serious bidders only. Reasonable reserve at
$1,000. Or, trade even for five MOTM filters or 300 oscillators. Don't be
fooled by the "new and improved" MOTM-110 being sold today. This vintage
sound can only be acheived with the original MOTM-100.
