MOTM

Question for all of you more capable EE types out there.  What would 
be a good tool for drawing schematics?  I have Visio 2K, but am not 
too pleased with how well it does.

My immediate goal is to translate some hand drawn poo into something 
more readable.  Extra bonus would be ability to generate parts lists 
and stuff from the shematic.

Any suggestions?

BTW, I am building up my first MOTM-300 today.  Wow, so many 
components.  I am kinda scared of the thing!  I guess I will see if it 
actually works later tonight after I solder the rest up (just now done 
with the 5% resist).  Anyone ever thought of taking some digital 
pictures of the assembly process and putting it up on the web as a 
guide to "ordinary blokes can do it" ?
