MOTM

while we're on the subject.....
i've made many cables including my MOTM ones and i'm a bit concerned. i 
just listened to one of the longer cables i made, going from elec gtr to 
amp, and it sounded like there was a LP filter on the guitar: so much highs 
and presence was just not there, compared to a spectraflex that we compared 
it with.

i'm using canare starquad and neutrik ends. i guess my results are from 
poor soldering ?  advice?
