And it's more fun to build that third cable than to build that thirty-third 
cable. My suggestion is to go Kovacky, but also buy some cable and some plugs 
so you can make cables when you run out and are awaiting that second run of 
Kovacy cables (or your too lazy to get to Guitar Center to pick up those Hosa 
cables).
