If the room that the modules are in does not get very dusty, is it advisable to put a back on the cabinet anyway? I was thinking of just leaving my cabinets open, the room they are in gets minimal dust collection (although I can relate to a cat wanting to check out everything!). > Question--do you find the 10" depth "stable"? Is this a silly worry? Even with > rubber feet? That's an open question to any of you cabinet guys / Moog > owners. A possible solution, depending on your cabinets and setup. I built a cabinet that is one standard rack width and 3 motm modules high with standard 8" (actually 7.5", if I remember correctly) by 1" (3/4") lumber. Because I have a very solid table on which most of my equipment sets, I bolted the cabinet onto the table using 3 lag bolts with 1.5" washers top and bottom. Very stable, even when plugging and unplugging patch cords. Jeff
