Thanks for the info. I wasn't very hopeful, since Acrobat has already
compressed them a bit, but it was worth checking. We had some unusually good
luck WinZipping TIFFs, so I was hoping against hope that it might do
something.

Back to the drawing board.

Stuffit &Winzip don't make much of a dent in the file size.
1,759,763 bytes for PC Zip & 1,788,913 bytes for Mac Stuffit
