If I understand this correctly, the vactrol is a variable resistor who's value is set by the brightness of an internal led. Wouldn't this be a somewhat easy solution to those of us looking to add cv control over an existing pot? Of course, I don't even know if these pieces are still in production, readily available, or what the specs are. (value, tollerance, current) -Nate >I would replace it.
