I whipped this up real fast, it should work if your input click audio is a volt or more. If not you may need additional amplification on the input. A comparator turns the audio into a pulse, which turns on the transistor to power the led. Needs 5V to power the circuit, you could probably get away with a wall wart transformer and a cheapo 7815 3 terminal regulator for the power supply.
