And get several of these outputs simultaneously, and they can be used to 
create complex rhythmic patterns (like those cute little humans often do) if 
you switch between them.

This second part isn't true with integer division, and non-integer division 
(I won't say real, but you know what I mean) would be very difficult to do -- 
I have no idea what the MOTM will do.
