Perhaps. But that's not the proper use of the GATE input.

This is correct! Ain't it great! *Exactly* what were you expecting? Again,
READ the
manual. This circuit generates SQUARE WAVES. The ultimate clipping device.

The module is *designed for VCOs/LFOs as the input, NOT audio*. If you DO
put audio in there,
it will clip the bejezus out of it. Bivins thinks this is a good thing!
