well, i don`t know that it was that big a deal but it was great to hear some 
of the kids doing good stuff with the old stuff i wasn`t really using 
anymore. plus, while a modest synth, paia stuff had a certain charm that i 
liked and being modular, exposed them to the idea of mix and match component 
sound creation before they got a midi kybd from the local music store and 
started their own bands !  :^)
