Paul,
  Since everyone raves about the sequencer in the FR-777, and since FR is 
planning to make a rackmount version of just the sequencer soon so you know 
its possible, you two should collaborate and put a FR sequencer in a 3 or 4u 
wide MOTM panel.  maybe add another cv or two per stage, and boom a winner.
Just a thought...
