i can see where something like this could be interesting depending on how it 
was rigged to "read" single / multiple contacts ( fingers,etc. ) and output 
from said contacts.
sadly, also, probably expensive and electronically complex. that plus low 
market interest would limit any manufacturers interest in producing it. ( i 
could and would love to be wrong but.........)

p.s. - didn`t big briar ( moog ) make some kind of "control surface" some 
years back?
