Here's another place I bought wire.  I walked into Unicorn Electronics 
in Johnson City, NY, when I was there visiting a few years ago and got 
ten 100-foot rolls of 22 gauge hookup wire.  (Tip:  Buy more black wire 
than colors.)  I like the insulation on this wire.
