I bought a whole bunch of kits from Paul before they went away, and have finished all but one. I've been turning my attention to cleaning up and trying to fix a pile of old keyboards that I bought off of a local player who got out of the business. Some of the troubleshooting has been beyond my knowledge, but it's a great exercise, anyway. Paul S. and Tony Allgood have been saving my arse regularly. (and this in-between, like, real work: sessions and gigs and such.) I'm going to sell off my FMR Audio RNP and RNC (mic pre and compressor; $600 for the set, if anyone's looking) to finance the purchase of a couple of more Seventh Circle mic pre kits; I want to try out their API and Neve clones, but they're not cheap and I'm just a working musician, after all. We've had chilly weather here in Atlanta, too - down to freezing and below the past couple of nights - and my heating system got jealous of the air conditioning and decided not to work when I tried to flip it back on three days ago. Brrr. Thankfully it decided (on its own) to fire up this morning at about 5am... Mmmm.....bison stew. Sounds excellent. So happy Easter, y'all. Anyone up for an egg toss in the April chill? Eric
