I saw him last year in a stone church in Philadelphia on a stormy 
windy night with the shadows of wind-blown branches in the stained 
glass windows. It was rather amazing.

And yes, the flutes are genuine Home Depot pvc pipe. ( ! )

So, I recommend Bestiary for maximum glurpiness, Electric Ladder for 
maximum "musicality" (whatever that means) and Seven Veils for 
maximum atmosphere (and for a great band as well). Bear in mind that 
he has 20 or so CDs available and I don't have them all, so I could 
be missing some gems. I think I'll go order a copy of Calling Down 
the Sky now.
