If you are reading through the Yahoo website there is a toggle for "List as Individual Messages" - which seems to default to "Group by Topic." Also, on the Messages page you can switch between ascending and descending message order - seems to default to the opposite of what it used to. As for e-mail, change your preferences to: "Traditional" instead of the default "Fully Featured / New & Improved!".
