Good choice on the 440! I'm going to get a second one of those myself. Comparing the 410 and the 480 is apples to oranges in my view. The 410 is more like a phase shifter, a stomp-box-like effect, with built-in LFOs. It's really nice, but quite different from the 480, which is a cascaded state-variable filter. They have different uses. Listening to the sound samples is a good way to decide. http://www.synthtech.com/motm410.html http://www.synthtech.com/motm480.html Also, be advised that to convert the 480 to a dual unit the way I did, a goodly amount of DIY experience is recommended.
