I have to second Ivan's comment. As a (soon to be) new MOTM builder, I chose the system because of the innovations in module design that Paul is engaging in now. The joystick and effects modules from Modcan have always looked interesting in that nice-to-have kind of way, But according to their website, the Modcan modules are only powered from a Modcan chassis and according to Modularsynth.com, only MOTM and Blacet modules are mutually compatible in their power delivery, though they use the same voltage. As a green builder, this might be a naive question, but is there a simple way to work around this with a mod and add the MTA connectors & cables? cheers, eric ivancu@... wrote: >This indicates that the MOTM panel format is catching on. >Methinks this is a good thing. I would agree. There are a number of more "utilitarian" modules such as the quad panner and joystick that I would like to have, but probably aren't worth Paul's time. In my opinion I like the direction Paul has been heading, with unique filters and modifiers that nobody else seems to make. Ivan Yahoo!
