Okay, my problem is solved. Note to self: Never misread mod info to read 
49.9 ohms when it really reads 49.9K ohms. Zoinks! Thanks to Larry Hendry for 
helping me out.

This moves the raw source file on disk only. The archive index is not changed automatically, so you still need to run a manual refresh afterward.
