I find I use mine a reasonable amount. I can run it into a comparator and use it to set the threshold. I can offset my ribbon controller for doing modulations. I have used it as a source of +5V to switch with a MOTM-700 for creating gates. I've used it into a mixer to create some 10 volts waveforms for older equipment.
