Ah, yes.  I still have that record, and in excellent condition to 
boot!  Don't you love the way announcers spoke back then?  The WC 
demo has always been a favorite of mine.

As for the FFB, I can only go on memory regarding Paul's design, an 
I've never used a live Moog FFB.  Given that, my judgment is that 
Paul's design doesn't sound as sharply resonant and quirky as the 
Moog. It's much more smooth. I did compare it directly to the dotcom 
and it is only slightly more resonant.  However, people in the market 
for an FFB won't be disappointed. I got some very lovely orchestral 
sonorities out of it and you can't beat it for SNR.

I blush to confess that before sending the unit back to Paul, I was 
going to create a demo highlighting each band.  That was to be 
followed by a measure or two of music using unfiltered waves, then 
FFB-filtered waves and reverb to show just how much you can warm up 
and transform the sound.  Didn't get that far, though.  You see,  
I.....um.....burnt the thing out by accidentally hooking it up 
backwards.  :-}
