They were shipped air-freight by my company. The cases were secured shut with straps, and were "palletized" along with tons of other audio gear. No problems-- although if I were traveling "solo" and used shipping services, I would want to put the SKBs inside some padded road case or trunk. As they stand, the SKBs provide no shock absorbtion at all. For self-transport, they're great. I only wish I had had Stooge Larry's custom SKB backs at the time, since my modules were literally swinging in the wind out at the theme park site. These are a "must" if you use SKB cases, IMHO. -Russell
