Hi John, That's why I didn't want numbers in the first place, BUT, people seem to like them for documentation reasons. However, since I don't like numbers on the little knobs, I wonder how useful it is to have numbers on the big knob. If people like just because of the 'look' then so be it. One interesting thing about this FS, is the Shift amt is uP controlled, and I can scale that knob to anything I want. I can even adjust the curve of the knob, so if some people don't like the range/response or have a different need, it is possible to change it.
