I suspect Paul would be to busy to do this sort of thing, but it would be nice to be able to order small volume MOTM specialty parts. I wouldn't mind paying a little extra to not have to order 300 of part xyz. Anyone up for it? This Stooge is really over-committed right now. While this sounds like a decent idea. It woudl be a LOT of work. I suspect whoever wants pick it up and run woud need more than 15% to make it worth while. However, having said that, it is nice that occassionally, someone does pick up the ball for specific parts like this. I have some of th bi-colored LEDs for my own use because of a group buy somone on the list did. I have done the same thing for rotary switches and pointer style knobs. Somone else did the pointer style knobs too before me. So, instead of trying to put together a "parts you need kit" for XX number of different possibilities, I think the best approach is to buy a particular part to share with others. It has to be either a part with a minimum entrance quantity (liek the LEDs) or one with siuch a significant price per-unit (maybe nice 100K pots) as to overcome the cost of double shipping charges.
