I use Belden #9921, which is 22ga, UL1007 listed. About $13 for a 100ft spool. This is "the good stuff". I get mine from Allied or Newark. A cool little bench setup is Belden #8824, which is 8 different colors of wire in a little dispensor, about $65. I know folks like to dig wire out of dumpsters of salvage telephone wire found on the side of the road. Not me. Paul S.
