Mark, Although drilling steel and iron may cause sparking, we are talking aluminum here. With proper lube, including kerosine, I have never, in 30 years, seen a spark off of aluminum. Kerosine is TOTALLY inappropriate for drilling other metals. Use any decent lube oil for steel or other metals.
