I'd say use the MPC 22.05Khz at 16-bits WAV format as the 'native file. 16-bit ADC and DAC are
about $65/set for 1/2 LSB, plus you need a 5ppm voltage reference (about $7) and 0.1% 10ppm
resistors in the CV path (45 cents ea) AND lastly good DC op amps (about $5.50 for a dual).
