On 6/11/03, Paul Schreiber put forth: > >Add a CV Mod pot per channel, and GAIN is not exactly "correct" >INITIAL is better. If you add a CV mod pot (two pots and three jacks per LPG), then two LPG's would not fit on 1U. If you decide on a 2U dual unit and add another jack and another knob per channel to add new features and fill up the panel, then you might as well make a 1U single LPG. No matter how you configure two LPG's in a dual unit, if each channel has the same amount of features, then result is always divisible by two :) Especailly considering that competing manufacturers offer LPG's, adding extra features seems important. Also, didn't the 292 have a "amplitude-both-frequency" switch for each channel?? That's a feature that might be worth keeping. Since most folks don't know what a LPG does, I think 1U module would sell better than a 2U module -- it would be less of risk. Anyone who wants more LPG's could just buy more modules :)
