Re: [motm] Re: Paging Barry

To take up where Barry left off -- The only modification to the 822 is to
install 2 additional resistors in the summing input circuits. There are
already places on the PCB to add these resistors. However, you have to
either land them on one end only or make a small cut in the PCB traces on
the bottom. I can provide details for anyone interested in implementing
Barry's panel. So far, it is a one of a kind.

Now that leaves two jacks: MOD A and MOD B, these are really what the panel
was designed for, the rest is functional filler. To use these your 822 will
have to be modified. Larry designed the 822 with the capability of having an
extra input for each channel which is summed to the output along with the
main IN and the switched offset, I'll defer to him for the implementation.
Mr. Hendry also advised using a trimmer to calibrate for 1V/oct usage from
the MOD input (i.e. transposition), though I haven't implemented this. The
basic idea is to be able to route an LFO (or other modulation source) to
multiple VCOs at the same level of modulation. Anyone is welcome to use the
panel.
