This is critical! If you don't get it right, you could end up damaging the board or the parts. And if this is severe enough, the solder joints themselves, If the bristles are too soft, you are wasting you time since there are certain particals which require a certain minimum force be applied before they will break free. Insufficiently stiff bristles will not be able to generate the required force. Really, the best thing you can do is to test the stiffness of your bristles. If you don't have the necessary equipment at your disposable, there are several testing facilities around the United States that can test them for you. A Taber stiffness unit of 85 to 118 will meet the above criteria. If you are not familiar with this measurement, please refer to: http://www.taberindustries.com/mtm/stiffness_tester_intrepreting_results.htm If you would like to conduct this test yourself on your brush in question, here is what you need: http://www.taberindustries.com/mtm/product_subframe_stiffness_tester.htm Happy scrubbing! Now let me see.... Is it White Day, St. Patrick's Day or April Fool's Day today??? I must have started drinking early. When all is said and done, I suggest using a fingernail scrubbing brush for best results. Cheers! Shemp ;-) > uh.... just a question? What "firmness of bristles > are you guys using...? Soft, Med, Firm... ? P.S. Firm toothbrushes are almost impossible to find any more. Thank the ADA for that one! :::MESSAGE RATING: 9T3::: __________________________________________________ Do you Yahoo!? Yahoo! Web Hosting - establish your business online http://webhosting.yahoo.com
