Q re: MOTM CV-->Deltalab Effectron (a bit OT)

2003-01-08 by Aaron Day

Greetings everyone-

After years of staring at the front panel of me Deltalab Effectron I finally
took a closer look at the back and realized (duh) that besides in, out,
bypass and repeat jacks there is one labeled "control".

Yep. Running a CV from any number of MOTM modules will in fact vary the
delay time--with interesting and sometimes not so interesting effects.

My questions to anyone who might know the inner workings on the 'tron better
than I:

01 What sort of CV range (in volts) does this device want?

02 Has anyone had luck sampling CV's (with the "hold" feature) and then
playing them *out* of the 'tron to the MOTM. I only seem to get burps and
hiccups (of control).

03 Seems to me this thing is ripe for CV input hacking. Esp into the
"feedback" control. Anyone tried this?

Best,
