I did a breath controller mod for the 850. I have all the data here. There are probably simpler ways to do it that I did it using just a tranny. But, I used an op amp and 3 resistors. I have the documentation, but I have never made it official on the website. Any how it is on my to-do list with too many other things. I have a joystick interface drawn on paper which I think will be really cool. It has a LED display which rather chases the joystick position. However, it has never made it from the paper to the breadboard. See poor excuse # 1 above However, when I get through this current panel run, and get everything shipped that everyone has been patiently waiting for (much of it starting to ship next week), I promise to get the breath controller mod documentation up-to-snuff and on-line. I wanted to do more than just throw up the schematic. I am hoping to take some time off around the holidays and do stuff. But, my wife has me in the middle of a huge house project (new front door, bay window, complete remodel of LR and DR. I have contractors here today putting in the window. I seem to remember that around this time last year, there was a thread that dealt with converting the MOTM-850 Pedal Interface module into an interface for a Breath Controller (ie- the Yamaha BC-1/2/3, etc.). I thought Stooge Larry was doing some experimentation along these lines, but I don't recall if anything ever came of it and I don't see anything about it on the WiseGuy site. I also thought there was some talk of a DIY joystick module at the same time. Does anybody have any info on these things, or is the fog that was the late 60's and early 70's just catching up with me? -Chris- Your use of Yahoo!
