The new release order looks like: Triple Preamp Envelope Follower SSM2040 clone - 4 pole LPF with VC Q and a special treat (no, not telling!) Mixer After that, will write the "official Sequencer Specification 1.0" which is the design document the sequencer is 'frozen to'. This will be in PDF format, with 2 weeks for comment. It is not certain how much I will be able to do with holidays & vacation after that. I am also working on a VC lag (new SPICE program arrived today!) But I want to be clear on one point: the software effort is 3-4 man-months just for Version 1.0.0 Some of the I/O code is written (display, FLASH memory, EEPROM, etc) but it is a massive undertaking. Therefore, from Thanksgiving to release, *very little* R&D will occur on new modules. Hopefully, I can ship what I have! :) I will offer "beta units" for testing. In order to beta, you have to pay for it, even if it sucks. You will get newer HW/SW as needed. You *must* have a PC with W95/98 and a free serial port. No whining about Amigas or your Sinclair Z-80 or that Motorola-based computer whose name escapes me :) You must pay for the beta, but the money is applied to a "real" one or you can get refunded. Did I mention this is also expensive (close to $10,000 in development/initial parts cost)? Paul S.
