Many years ago I bought a bunch of Y adapters at rat shack (I don't know if they still make them). They have a solid plastic shell with a 1/4" plug at one end and two 1/4" jacks at the other end. No dangling wires. They work great with MOTM; I was using them as mults for a few months until I got some 910s.
